Analysing Conventions of Opening Sequences 4 - 'Dumb and Dumber'

The next opening scene I am going to look at is for the comedy 'Dumb and Dumber', which includes the following conventions:

• Production company logos (New Line Cinema)
• Titles/credits - including production company, producers, directors, names of the main stars, the title of the film and names of various crew members
• Indication of genre (comedy)
• Introduces main characters and their character traits (they are goofy, unintelligent, obsessed with women)
